OUR GUIDE TO EASTBOURNE

Seafront from WT.JPG

Eastbourne is unlike any other town on the south coast, a vibrant five miles of promenade stretching from Beachy Head to Langney Point. A marina overlooked by cafes and shops, where thousands of vessels find safe mooring. A history that goes back to Roman times yet a town built only in the mid-19th century by the Seventh Duke of Devonshire, 'a town built by gentlemen for gentlemen.'

Gaia Communications have created three video/DVDs about Eastbourne, showing the town in all its colour vibrancy. Eastbourne Now, Eastbourne Then & Now and Discovering Eastbourne. For more information read Robert Armstrong's Guide to Eastbourne or listen to Gaia's Audio Book The Birth of Eastbourne (Twin CD or Twin Cassette).
